弘光科大放寬修讀輔系標準
台灣大學日前教務會議上通過下學期開始學生修讀輔系不需事先申請，弘光科大為鼓勵學生修輔系增加跨領域能力，上學期就已全面放寬申請標準，成績60分以上就能修讀輔系，並可優先選課，教務會議也參考台大作法，通過「輔系設置辦法」修正案，修讀輔系不需事先申請，且本學期馬上適用。
教務長潘世尊分析，技職體系和高教體系不同的是，多數學生念高職時已先選擇有興趣科別就讀，升大學時又可以轉換類群，不像高教體系學生上大學才開始摸索，因此，選修輔系學生比高教體系來得少，有鑑於愈來愈多一般高中生選讀本校，加上鼓勵學生增加跨領域能力，上學期便大幅放寬修讀輔系標準。
「多管齊下放寬標準，目的在於鼓勵學生跨領域修課，厚植就業能力」潘世尊強調，過去由各系分別訂出修讀輔系標準，通常要平均80至85分才可申請，上學期開始放寬平均60分以上即可申請，還可優先選課、跨部選課（日間部到進修部或進修部到日間部選課），本學期再於辦法中增列不需事先申請條文，畢業前若修畢他系輔系規定課程與學分，可申請發給輔系證書。
另外，為協助修讀雙主修及輔系學生能完成課程，還提供學生諮詢平台，讓輔系及雙主修學生能有專屬的空間與管道去學習和解決修習上困難，且為獎勵學生修畢雙主修，修畢時學校會頒發獎金3萬元鼓勵。
不過，目前正在修讀輔系的學生還是建議有意修輔系者「事先申請」，因為有申請便能優先選課、跨部選課，優點多多。
